Released after the Fukushima disaster by the Japanese label Neguse Group, "Block Notes" has been recorded in 2008/2009 in PAQ's bedroom-studio featuring a bunch of ninja phantoms, astronaut monkeys and science fiction superheroes.
Made of 17 satirical sketches, the album is a mix of hand-drawn characters awakened by using low budget special effects.

Somewhere between home-made folk, proto-electronics, space mambos and early '70s Italian B-movies soundtracks, it doesn't really fit into any of these categories.

17 rough instrumental episodes with their own life, but forming some kind of a (paqtafisic) concept piece.

No virtual instruments or plug-ins have been used in the recordings and no animals were harmed.
